Pre-departure guide for international students coming to Canada.
Ensure all of your documents are kept in hand bag, keep 1 copy at home, keep 1 copy in your email. These documents include:
• Passport • Airline tickets • Academic history and university transcripts • Letter of acceptance for your Canadian educational institution • Travel insurance certificate , if applicable • Key addresses and phone numbers • A bank statement showing proof of funds or GIC • Letter of introduction from Canadian immigration, if applicable • Prescriptions for any medication you are carrying • Traveller’s cheques, if applicable • Medical and immunization records , if applicable
